Green thinking of Indonesian architects

Abstract This study explores the environmental-based design, which is framed into green thinking as input of design process. Five Indonesian architects were selected this study’s subject based on their understanding concept. The qualitative strategy employed with tactic in-depth interviews and content analysis help NVivo software to produce themes patterns regarding discussion. comes two main findings: concept’s inclination traditional architecture, incorporates local materials conditions employment these five architects’ tendency toward thinking. second one thinking’s accommodation in development stage, also research site are perceived
